Introduction
The general objective of this three years project (2011-2013) is to enhance the professional skills and EU/ENP-specific knowledge of relevant staff from the civil service and public administrations of ENP partner countries so as to enable them to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the European Neighbourhood Policy and other relevant EU policies.
This project has been designed to help improving the effectiveness of policies and relationship between the EU and the neighbourhood countries and to help deepening political dialogue and cooperation with each of the neighbours.
This project is funded by the Europe Commission, DG Development and Cooperation (DEVCO) and managed by the Development Office; College of Europe.
Beneficiaries of the project
The beneficiary countries of this project are the ENP countries: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine.
The participants to the training seminars will be relevant staff from governmental bodies who wish to improve their knowledge on EU-ENP affairs or to deepen their expertise.

Activities of the project
- Designing, organising and delivering 12 professional training seminars. The seminars will be organised in the College of Europe (Campus of Bruges and Natolin);
- Conducting a training need assessment in each beneficiary country;
- Conducting a mapping exercise of similar training activities in the whole region;
- Creating and updating the project´s webpage
